What You’ll Do

  • Design/debug/benchmark system components (control electronics and/or power electronics modules) for the development/improvement of EV charging systems.

  • Benchmark EV charging system design through test and other technical approaches

  •  Contribute to control firmware development as needed in the system integration and test processes

  • Monitor trend and competitor activities in the EV charging systems field to be on top of state-of-the-art technologies.

  • Work with product engineering, quality assurance and service colleagues on product release and customer support activities

  • Write and improve standards in the EV Area

  • Travel as needed

Who You are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field is required with a minimum of 2 or more years of in power electronics hardware design and development.​

 

  • Experience as an electrical systems integrator. Embedded software programming experience is a plus. Master’s degree, and/or direct industry knowledge of electric vehicle charging a plus. 

  • safety training or professional engineering experience a plus. Must be comfortable working in a highly collaborative, global team environment. Exceptional English language speaking, reading and writing absolutely required

  • Very strong analytical skills required, with an inquisitive engineering problem solving mindset required• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Impedyme in the US.
